A range of communication tools are available for team members. Which tools to use for which type of communication?

  • Chat with the whole team across team channels
    • For announcements and discussion of any topics that concern the whole team or team members following a specific channel.
  • Videoconferencing of the whole team
    • They can replace team meetings with personal participation, allowing participation of team members who are travelling or have a home office.
  • Ad-hoc chat / video conference with selected colleagues
    • Substitute emails or face-to-face meetings.
  • Open videoconferences with invited or optional external participants
    • For meetings with external partners, presentations, training.
  • E-mail in the team mailbox
    • For communication on tasks within Planner.
    • For communication of the whole team with partners outside the team.
  • Email address assigned to each channel
    • Suitable e.g. for messages sent by automated systems (monitoring, notifications from external systems).
  • Connection to other systems / tools
    • Possibility to use connectors for channels
