In the Team app (both browser and desktop), you can set which notifications you want to receive and on which events.Notification methods:
“Pop-up”: if you have the app running (on your computer or mobile device), you are notified of new monitored events by a pop-up window in the app
“Email”: if you don’t have the app running, an email is sent to you at the interval you set with a summary of missed events
1 You can access the settings by clicking on the circle with your photo or initials in the upper right corner of Teams and selecting Settings.2 In the window that appears, tap Notifications and choose how you want to be notified in each channel. Among other things, you can set the frequency of email notifications when you don’t have the app running.
For individual channels:
Tap the three dots next to the channel name and Channel Notification.
Important channels: If you want to be notified of all new activity in a channel by a pop-up window, select the Caption and Information channel.
However, less important channels you want to watch: If you’re happy with the activity overview, select View in channel only.
If you want to be notified of all replies at the same time, tick Include all replies
