Borrowing Regulations of the Faculty of Arts JAMU

Do you need to borrow equipment for filming, rehearsals or any other project at the JAMU Theatre Faculty?
Here you will find a clear procedure, rules and necessary documents.
All members of the JAMU Theatre Faculty – students and employees – can borrow equipment.

How to rent equipment step by step

Book a date
Write an e-mail to pujcovna@difa.jamu.cz

  • specify what you need,
  • the date when you will use the technique,
  • and the purpose of the loan (e.g. filming, project, rehearsal).

Pick up at the JAMU Faculty of Arts Lending Library
Room 415 (4th floor, Mozartova 1)
Bring your student or employee ID.

Sign the technology assignment form
You will receive the document on site or you can download it in advance:

Return the equipment by the due date
Check that it is complete and functional.
In case of damage or loss, contact the rental company immediately.

🔸 The equipment cannot be borrowed for private purposes.
🔸 In case of loss or damage, the user is liable according to §255 and §391 of the Labour Code.
🔸 Late return is sanctioned by a contractual penalty of 20 CZK/day.
🔸 Before the end of the study, it is necessary to confirm the return of all borrowed equipment.

The equipment shall only be issued to trained and instructed users.

The rental company may request immediate return if the equipment is needed for teaching.

Borrowed equipment may not be provided to third parties.

A loan form is filled out and signed upon receipt of the equipment.

Check-out and check-in takes place during the rental hours indicated on the door of room no. 415.

LESSON HOURS during the academic year are MONDAY – FRIDAY 13:30 – 14:30.
