Notice

According to Article 25, paragraph 2 of the JAMU CBA, the course sponsor is responsible for the content of the course syllabus and its publication in the IS. The exhaustively listed components of the syllabus include the above mentioned items and should in any case correspond to the course syllabus as accredited by NAU.

Finding all the items I guarantee:

Enter the Item Catalogue:

Catalogue

Select always one faculty, one period, check the option “I am a Guarantor” and select only the listed courses

Choosing only one period is important for clarity of subjects.

Once you have found the items, you can click on the item code (1) to enter the item tab and continue editing

Or select multiple subjects, or use “Select All” (2) to select all subjects and then use “Subject Operations” (3) to go to bulk editing, or enter the “Teacher’s Notebook”

Access to the teacher’s notebook with selected subjects

Modification of the subject data see below, further information also in:

In Part 2, the supervisor is responsible for the content of the course, and the supervisor is appointed by the head of the supervising department of the course. In addition to the syllabus, the course teacher can only modify the list of his/her co-teachers, the guarantor and the head of the department can additionally modify the credits, the scope, the conditions of enrolment and completion and the method of completion.

Site Manager – assignment of assessments and access to other applications:

Use the search box in IS to find the teacher of the subject and click on the “Teaching” tab on his/her personal page.

Here you will find a list of the teacher’s courses and a small link “Teacher” next to all the courses you have the right to take as a leader. After clicking on it, select the option “Grades” to enter an evaluation, for example. This will take you to the familiar grading interface, with further links to other applications

Or if you know the course code directly: enter the “Teacher’s Notebook”. “In addition to your own subjects, you can also search for another subject here. Type or copy the course code in the search box and select “Select”.

You are now in the “Teacher’s Notebook” in the selected subject as if it were your own.

or – especially if you want to work with a large number of items or need to track them down first:

Using the catalogue of items

find the subject or subjects for which you want to enter grades, click the selected subjects and select “Operations with subjects”.

In the list of applications, select “Teacher Recorder” in the “Operations with selected items” section right at the top. Note that you must have the corresponding faculty to the courses selected in the upper right corner.

You will be taken to the familiar “Teacher” signpost with the already selected subjects, where you can select your favourite method of marking in the “Assessment” section.

Search all subjects in the workplace and enter the teacher’s bookmark

Modification of the basic data of the subject:

Go to the course page in any of the ways described above, i.e. on the teacher’s page, by bulk selection in the catalogue, by entering the code…

Here, select “Full course information listing”

And then you edit the “Basic” data of the object

You can also access the Course Master Data from the Teacher by selecting “Edit Teachers”.

This can also be done in bulk – select the items from the catalogue of items as above and select “Operations with items”.

And then select “Edit master data” to work with courses one at a time, or “Bulk edit master data” to work with a group of courses – this way you can work with up to 200 courses from the same semester.

When bulk editing, pay close attention to the actions being performed, it is difficult to undo a mistake if it is made on many items and the mistake will cause difficulties just in finding the items again.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE THE PROCEDURES FOR THE COURSE CODES LISTED HERE – IT CAUSES PROBLEMS WITH THE COURSE MATERIALS AND ITS PLACEMENT IN THE CATALOG.
