Inserting a ZP topic into IS

Inserting a ZP topic into IS

Once the topic of the thesis has been agreed, this should be entered into the IS. The topic can be entered into the IS by both the head of the department and the student.

The procedure for inserting topics by students is described in :

Inserting topics by students

If the topic wants to insert the leader then the procedure is:

Enter the work schedules

Schedules

Here you need to select the correct schedule according to the workplace and type of study for which you want to list the topic in the case of qualifying work, or the schedule “Graduate projects” in the case of abs. performance.

Select the appropriate schedule and use the “Topics: create” link in the navigation bar. A form will open in which you fill in the required data. Don’t forget to click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

You can choose only a person from JAMU as a supervisor or opponent of your bachelor’s or master’s thesis. If the supervisor or opponent does not meet this condition, select ONLY the supervisor of your studio/department as the supervisor of the thesis and write the names of the supervisor and opponent together with the distinction of supervisor/opponent in the “Official Assignment”.

Immediately after saving the topic, you will be offered the link “Manipulate students”, after selecting it you can use “Search studies”

track down the relevant student and save the topic.

The student is informed by email at this point that the topic has been created.

It’s much easier if the topic is created by the student, and then the leader only receives an email with a link to confirm the topic.

The assigned supervisor will receive an email about the need for confirmation with a link directly to the confirmation:

Use the respective “confirm”/”reject” buttons to confirm/deny the topic login.

Before confirming the topic, you can of course edit it using the “Edit” button.

The student is informed of your decision, and any editing, by email.
