There is an application for generating electronic confirmation of studies available in IS.
You can generate the confirmation in
IS – Student – During studies – Confirmation of studies
If you are studying in a further or advanced study programme at JAMU, make sure that you have selected the correct study programme in the upper right corner.
Based on your study records, the system will offer to issue the appropriate type of confirmation for you:
Active studies: confirmation of studies
Completed studies: confirmation of the length of completed studies
Previously interrupted studies: confirmation of interruption of active studies
Currently interrupted studies: confirmation of interruption of inactive studies
You can also have a certificate issued for the academic years already passed.
Click on the “Issue Confirmation” button or click on the confirmations already issued.
In the case of a new receipt, the page will reload and information about the progress of the receipt will appear.
It takes a while to seal a document, one document is sealed within approximately 15 seconds, if there are more documents in the queue and it would take longer to issue the confirmation, IS will inform you by email about the completion.
You can have a study certificate issued up to once a month, and all certificates issued once are always accessible to the student in this application.
When you have finished sealing the document, click on this confirmation to be taken to the confirmation page, which you can download, print… For currently valid confirmations (the current date is within the date range for which the confirmation is issued) this page also displays the current status of the study, for confirmations that have already expired (the current date is higher than the date range for which the confirmation is issued) this information is not provided. The link to this page leads to an unauthenticated part of the IS and you can provide the link to a third party to check the validity of the certificate.
