Eduroam

What is Eduroam?

Eduroam is a global network involving mainly universities, but also some secondary schools and other institutions from all over the world. Our university is one of these organisations. As a student or employee, you have an account within this network. This network allows users to connect to the wireless internet and to a WiFi network named Eduroam.

How can I connect to Eduroam WiFi?

Students and postgraduate students will use the JAMU student card (ISIC) for registration. The login is the ID (ID number) on the JAMU student card and the password is the same as the password to WIFI Eduroam (not to IS).
Employees and teachers will use the username (the part before the work e-mail) and the password is the same as the WIFI Eduroam password (not the IS password).

To simplify the connection to this network, we have prepared the EDUCAT application. You can download it on the web:

where after clicking on the button To download your eduroam® installer click here to select the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts organization and that’s it. You then enter the details described in the previous paragraph into the application and you are logged in anywhere in the world.
